My hope for the upcoming years.
In being involved with pop warner for the last 6 years along with my family, i am grateful and
honored that i have been chosen as the next league president. I would like to thank the
board members who have been involved over the last 2 years especially, Cheryl and Steve
Varieur, Russ Adams, Kieth Jameson, Paul Kelley, Walter Dubzinski, Cherie Comely,
John Doyle and especially My husband Sean, who has run this league with integrity, pride
and with as much fairness as he possibly could. My hope, is that i can continue on with this
and maybe improve upon some things along the way. It has been said before, and needs
saying again...the whole is only as strong as it components. I take this to heart and know that i
am only one, one of many who have also dedicated themselves to this league. In saying this,
there are many more components that we need to complete this whole. To make it as strong
as it possibly can be for the children in this league. We need coaches, assistants, team
parents, coordinators and more. I can promise to do my best to keep the league running as
Sean did, but i need a strong board and associates to help. There are many key positions
that don't get the exposure of the main board members, but each voice is just as loud when
there is a decision to be made, a thought or idea to be announced, or a plan that needs to be
put into action. I am thankful for all who have stepped forward already, and anticipate the
many who will come forward. If you are one of those who would like to put your name into a
hat for a certain position, or just to fill in an empty one please contact me as soon as possible
by either e-mailing me at the address below or sending a letter of interest and your
qualifications or reasons for interest. I would like to get a good strong start for next years
season. I will be sending out regular email announcements of positions available, positions
filled, meeting dates, sign up dates and any other information i feel is necessary for a well
educated league. Please feel free to also send me any ideas or thoughts you have that may
help this league be one of the best and strongest for our children.
