| Below are a list of positions available and descriptions of each, along with a form to send your intent directly to the president of North County Pop Warner. Football Director: The football director is a voting position on the board and will be appointed by the President. The football director is in charge of contacting all coaches from the previous year and having them call their players for registration. The director is in charge of getting all perspective football coaches letter of intents and passing them on to the President. The director will help collect all paperwork from each child. The director is in charge of making sure each child gets their 10 hours of conditioning before they start to hit. As the director you will be in charge of everything pertaining to football. For examples: helping getting the books done, pictures, making sure the coaches and players are following all the rules, passing out paperwork, handling all problems with coaches and parents and passing that info on to the President, etc. and assume any other duties assigned by the President or the board. Equipment Manager: The Equipment Manager shall be in charge of handling all equipment. They will be responsible for inventory, collection, and distribution of all football and cheerleading equipment, and for recommendation concerning the purchase of the new equipment. Will have the option of appointing a committee with the approval of the board. Assistant positions for Cheering Director and Football director *will assist Cheering Director/Football director in their positions as needed *will stand in for them if needed in emergency situations *will not be a voting member but all opinions will be taken into consideration Concession Stand Coordinator: The concession stand coordinator shall be responsible for the running of the concession stand at all home games, practices, and special home events. They will need to organize, purchase and inventory all concessions with the approval of the board. Will not be a voting member, but all opinions will be taken into consideration. Will have the option of appointing a committee with approval of the board. Coaching and assistant coaches for each level of the league. Coaches: Board Members can now be coaches, except the Cheer coordinator and the football director. It was written that the President also could not coach up until the annual meeting when no one apposed the change in October 2005. All coaches will be chosen by the President and their term ends at the end of that season as written by National Pop Warner by – laws. (This was amended in 2004) (committees for end of year events) Awards Committee: The coaches and Executive Committee will be the members of the Awards Committee, and shall make decisions on what particular awards shall be instituted by the Association and to whom that shall be presented. Banquet Committee: The members of the Banquet Committee shall be appointed by the President and shall be responsible for all activities concerning the annual banquet of the Association. 3. Nominating Committee: The members of the Nominating Committee shall be appointed by the President and shall submit a slate of new officers at the annual meeting, or any special meetings. |
