Welcome to the 2008 season.
Some simple reminders and rules.
Please remember August is H O T!! Players should come to practice in shorts
and t-shirt with plenty to drink. Once the pads and helmets are given out, they
will be even hotter, the Coaches will allow for plenty of breaks for drinks and
cooling off please be sure to tell your player to take advantage of drinking.
Conditioning is a very important part of getting ready for the season. Please let
your player know that the coaches are trained and know how to prepare them,
but they need to let the coaches know if they are having any issues.
Players are expected to be to practice on time just as we expect our coaches to
be on time. Players are expected to know and follow the rules of Pop Warner.
All North County Players are a team, from tiney mites to Midgets...they are North
County Panthers. If they have questions or wish for more knowledge of the
game, they should feel free to go to any other player, assistant coach, or coach
for guidance.
All players are expected to follow the "Golden Rule" and we expect all parents
and coaches to encourage this also.
